Carlo works at Mckinsey & Co as a business analyst. After Garden House School, where he is fondly remembered by all as ‘QC’, Carlo attended Westminster Under and Westminster School before studying for his degree in Human Sciences at Magdalen College Oxford.
Carlo founded GrassRootsWeb, a truly non-profit website agency in November 2020, during the second lockdown. This provides web design for charities, start-ups and small businesses who are unable to find funds for a website which will in turn allow their business/charity to flourish.
GrassRootsWeb trains young people, teaching them web design, client interaction and project leadership. These young people then give back by building websites pro bono for grass-root organisations. By 2022, GrassRootsWeb has attracted hundreds of volunteers and Carlo has passed on the management to a team of graduates, thereby giving them management experience. A virtuous circle. Carlo has varied interests outside McKinsey and his charitable work – he was a sous chef in Italy prior to university. He was part of the University Ballroom dancing team, played mixed lacrosse and continued his acting, a passion nurtured at Garden House School.
